Corruption is a whip

Corruption is a whip
That makes souls weep
Pure merit it seeks to sweep
Down the lowest belt of the deep
Merit is a white river
With the glittering quiver
That makes corruption shiver
At the sight of the eloquent silver
Here is my moral stand
Upon the heart cleansing land
There is power in the topical gland
Wherein transparency wears garland
