All Police Officers Must Uphold The Ideology Of Police Force—AIG

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) of Zone 3, AIG Usman Tilli said all Nigeria Police must adhere and uphold the ideology of the police force.

He made the call today in Yola, the Adamawa state capital during an official visit,maintained that there is the need for Policemen to be dedicated to their work.

Till while addressing the men of the Nigerian Police reminded them of the core ethics of the force and charged them to uphold the ideology of the force and also brace up with the challenge

of fighting insurgents.
According to him, “it does not matter which part of the country you are from, just carry out your duties where ever you find yourself with a high sense of responsibility”.

Tilli urged Officers and men of the force to stop begging and do their work, saying “It is no longer business as usual, you must justify every action or decision you take if you have to block the road for what so ever reason justify that action, ”

While admonishing them to be neat at all times, the AIG hinted that the new Inspector General demands neatness and cleanliness from officers and men of the force.

Earlier, in his welcome address, the Adamawa state Police Commissioner Ghazzali Mohammed announced that boko haram has been degraded and normalcy has returned to most of the affected local government.

While assuring the people of the state of their security and safety, the CP challenged his Area commanders and DPO’s to fine tune their operational strategies to meet the day to day security challenges.

Mohammed however call the attention of the AIG to the problems facing the command which include office accommodation, furniture and equipment, lack of manpower among others.
