Premium Herald To Transform Nigerian News And Media With Helicopter-Captured Live Streaming News Report

Premium Herald, one of Nigeria’s leading and committed online newspaper, print and entertainment portal, has announced that it has acquired a helicopter to begin providing live news and on-the-scene streaming of events as they happen. The online newspaper will share helicopter reports along with its usual fare brought in by its team of almost 1,000 reporters and professionals.

Premium Herald will transform the media landscape of Nigeria with its live, on-location news delivery via air. The streaming will be shared with Nigerian TV stations as well as with its online website. News as it is unfolding is the latest way to consume important events and the new initiative by Premium Herald will help change the way Nigerians have access to the day’s happenings.

Premium Herald is based in Lagos, Nigeria, with over ten offices in the US, Kenya, Ghana, London and South Africa. Launched in 2016, its dedicated team works round the clock to deliver news over multimedia platforms, from live video streams to audio packages and searchable archives. The portal aims to create and redistribute foreign news of interest to Nigeria and the rest of the world.

The helicopter mobile news service will finally be a breakthrough in the Nigerian news media community, as this will be the first of its kind in Nigeria and will prove to be effective at providing quality and live news both on the web and on TV for Nigerian homes. Though Premium Herald has made it clear that the helicopter was purchased by 2 sponsors who want to remain anonymous until further notice, Premium Herald Founder also said "News Reporting in Nigeria is about to become very interesting."

A video from the first test run on the helicopter was made and services will commence by December 2016. But it is unclear Nigerian News Stations will be paying for this services.
