Biafra Youth League Backs Sit At Home Protest

The Biafra Nations Youth League have come out in support of Friday sit at home that was declared by the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB.

The BNYL through it's Media and Publicity Secretary, Mmeyene Etim Archibong called on the people of Bakassi, Akwa-Cross (Akwa Ibom and Cross River State) and the Niger Delta to observe the holiday.

"I implore all Biafrans, Bakassi, Akwa-Cross, and the Niger Delta, irrespective of ethnic differences to adhere to the sit at home order".

Archibong further advised Igbo traders and the rest traders in the proposed Biafra state to sacrifice a day for Biafra.

The indigenous people of Biafra had declared 23rd September a protest day in solidarity with the detained Director, Nnamdi Kanu who have been in detention for almost a year, report has it that the detained Director is critically ill in Kuje prison where he is being kept under custody.

Biafra, officially known as Republic of Biafra was declared a sovereign state by the Late Emeka Ojukwu which sparked three years civil war.
