Ondo 2016: I 'll Relocate OSOPADEC Headquarters To Igbokoda If I Win, Olabimtan Vows

By Maxwell Adeleye

Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, former Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly and All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Aspirant in the November 26th governorship election in the state has vowed to correct the injustice against the oil producing areas of the state if voted as Governor.

To first achieve this, the former commissioner representing Edo, Ondo and Ekiti States in the Federal Civil Service Commission promised to relocate the headquarters of the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC) from Akure, the state capital to Igbokoda, the administrative headquarters of the oil producing areas (Ilaje) with an area office sited in Igbekebo, the headquarters of Ese Odo Local Government Area.

The Akoko born politician spoke in Ajagba, Eseodo Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday when meeting with the delegates of his party ahead of the coming primary election of his party.

He admonished the party delegates not to sell their votes, warning that indulging in such will spell doom for the future of the state.

"I will relocate the headquarters of OSOPADEC from Akure the state capital to Igbokoda in Ilaje LGA with an area office sited in Igbekebo. OSOPADEC has no business in Akure.

"I will develop Ondo State in all ramifications if allowed by you people to be governor. Don't sell your vote, vote your conscience. Say no to imposition of candidate. I will empower our party members. I will cater for the youths. Our women shall smile." He stressed.
