Mother Set To Marry Son

By Olubankole Olatunji

Sexual activities or pleasures are usually expected to be directed towards non relatives and not persons with filia affiliation. This presume that sexual activities be non incestuous. But this norm is gradually being rejected by recent case of incentuous couples. This bring to one's understanding of GENETIC SEXUAL ATTRACTION (GSA).

GSA as it is profoundly called is gaining attention especially with the freedom and abuse granted by our senses. GSA presents a headache for a morally inclined community and an assault to our collective conscience. How would a mother marry his son? A recent instance is that of KIM and BEN FORD (in the United States) who are willing to get married after they have been exploiting each other sexually. Hmmm

Our world is developing so fast that our senses cannot comprehend simple arithmetic. Our brains are working so fast that it is making our lives more meaningful that we forgot the essence of creation. Everybody is on the move and everything goes. First, we allowed men and men to marry each other and also allowed a man transform into a woman. Now, we are faced with allowing blood relatives get married!

At times I ask myself how did we get here? From moral decadence to social rot! We are all responsible. You can never be indifferent on this issue, except you are a traitor. Please, pitch your tent! I stand out and I stand against incestuous relationships or marriages. We cannot be forced to use a good name to brandish a bad act. It is absurd.

Different explanations had been given to GSA. For example, assortative mating and imprinting. These explanations, at best present a logical explanation of the illogical. Where assortative mating posits that people tend to select mates like themselves (such as one within a family), imprinting put that certain traits are likely to foster attraction between family members. These two concepts are a fraction of someone imagination and should be taken only as nothing but futile scientific explanation of the illogical.

I am opposed to the notion that a mother should marry his son. What about you?

Thank you
