Late Gen. Aguiyi-Ironsi 50th Anniversary In Umuahia

Today in Umuahia Abia State Capital, the Representative the Wife of the President and Wife of Governor of Anambra State, Chief (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano, was on hand as Nigerians gathered in honour and remembrance of a national hero, leader and illustrious son, former Military Head of State, late Maj.

Gen. Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi-Ironsi on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary and memorial of his death on July 29, 1966.
