Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze Oseloka H. Obaze To Be Honoured By Rotary International District 9140, Awka On Saturday 30 July, 2016

Rotary International District 9140 of Awka GRA has announced that it will honour Mr Oseloka H. Obaze, MD/CEO Selonnes Consult Ltd. and the immediate past Secretary to the Anambra State Government with its International Service Award.

The Rotary Club Investiture of International Service Award on Mr Obaze, is scheduled to hold on Saturday 30 July, 2016 at 2:00pm at the East End Hotel, Awka, during the installation of the 15th President Rotarian Arc. Danielson Ndubisi Ositadinma.

This will be the second time Rotary International is honouring Mr Obaze with a similar award. In September 2014, Rotary Club District 9140 of Onitsha East honoured Mr Obaze with its international Service award during the installation of Dr. Chike Vincent Chinyelu as the 30th President of the Rotary Club of Onitsha East.

Mr. Obaze who served as Secretary to the Anambra State Government under Governor Peter Obi and Gov. Willie Obiano is being honoured for his service to Anambra State, Nigeria and the international community.

A policy adviser, seasoned diplomat and administrator, Mr Obaze is a product of Christ the King College Onitsha Onitsha and DMGS Onitsha, Hon. Obaze was a member of the Nigerian Diplomatic Service from 1982 to 1991 before joining the United Nations Secretariat, in New York, where he served in various capacities from 1991 to 2012. He served as SSG Anambra from June 2012 to June 2015.

Mr. Obaze is the author of two recently published books, Here To Serve-Advocacy for Good Governance and Regarscent Past -A collection of Poems. A widely traveled man has travelled to 64 countries.
