Gov. Bindow Flags Off The Construction Of 40 Years Neglected Road In Yola

The Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Mohammadu Umaru Jibrilla has flagged off the construction of a roads that takes off from Jippu Jam round about to Yolde Pate in Yola town which has been neglected for over fourty years by the past as administrators.

According to Bindow History is being made as the flag off ceremony has the like of Lamidon Adamawa, Alhaji (Dr) Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa to witness the occasion, haven been a commissioner of works in 1982 when the community of Yolde Pate was emerged.

He told the people of the state that his administration is purely a people oriented one and he does not have any Political God Father except the people of the state that is answerable to.

Jibrilla said the construction of the roads became paramount considering the economy potentials of the area and to fulfilled campaign promises he has made last year to them.

The Chief of staff,Alhaji Abdulraham Abba Jimeta in his own submission told politicians in the state who are trying to distract Governor Bindow led administration with mere political propaganda, that the Governor is out for work and means business and therefore should excuse him to settle down for the business and progress he has come to do in the state.

The 4.5 km road that leads to Yolde Pate settlement suffers neglect of the 15 successful past Governors since the defunct Gongola state and was given to Roycon Construction company at the total sum of 1.3Billion Naira and they assure the completion of the work within the shortest possible time.
