ICODEHS Greets All Muslims

By Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian (ICODEHS)

On the occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr festival to mark the end of Ramadan fast, the Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian (ICODEHS) with immeasurable thanks to the Almighty Allah, would wish to congratulate all Muslims over the country.

Eid-ul-Fitr is an occasion for love, kindness, forgiveness and tolerance. While Ramadan is a time of worship and meditation, Eid is a time of celebration with modesty, a time to make peace with neighbours; relatives and friends and resolve differences. This is the time to rejuvenate bonds of kindship, friendship, peace and demonstrate love.

So let this festive occasion provide us with opportunity to stretch our hands out to each other for forgiveness and reconciliation. Let us transcend our differences and disagreements and reach out to one another with a new spirit of peace, love and tolerance so that our peaceful coexistences as a people will continue to enjoyed.

ICODEHS on this auspicious occasion would wish to urge all Ghanaians particularly Muslims to let the lessons learnt during Ramadan to reflect in their actions before, during and after the forthcoming December 2016 Election. We urge all players including Electoral commission, media, political parties and security services to ensure that they exhibit professionalism before, during and after election so Ghana remain peaceful.

On behalf of our international partners, we wish to extend greetings and best wishers to Muslim communities all over the country on this occasion.

May the almighty allah reward our deeds and bless our country Ghana. Eid Mubarak
