Job Creation: Osanebi Donates N10m To Support, Yagep, Step

Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi yesterday donated the sum of Ten Million Naira ( N10,000,000) to boost job creation through Delta State Government Job Creation Scheme under the Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP) and Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP).

Osanebi, who made the donation during the People's Democratic Party ( PDP) Delta North stakeholders meeting at Boji Boji Owa, called on well meaning Deltans at every level to support job creation and youth empowerment, saying government alone can not meet the people's engagement/employment needs.

He also called on political office holders from the region to support the effort Governor Okowa in bringing durable prosperity to all Deltans.

The Deputy Speaker charged party and political leaders to return from the zonal meeting and convene more meetings with their constituents, especially party faithful in their local governments and Ward levels, so that the people can feel more impact of governance.

Governor Okowa who harped on unity of political office holders and party faithful, assured Deltan of his readiness to deliver prosperity to all Deltans.

The Governor assured all of his readiness to work assiduously with all party leaders to expand the reach of the party in all wards and Local Governments of Delta State.

The donation from the Deputy Speaker was directed to the Delta State Job Creation Office, to train more Delta North youths and Deltans in general.

Present at the meeting were His Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi, Chief Godswill Obielum, Dame Mrs. Esther Uduehi, Hon. Moses Iduh (Delta North Chairman), House of Assembly members from Delta North, House of reps members from Delta North, Delta State Executive Council members from Delta North, other political appointees and top government functionaries from Delta North, party leaders from the zone and a host of others.
