KANO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ORDERS THE REMOVAL OF THE STATE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL
...., SAYING HE IS INCOMPETENT.
Kano state House of assembly has directed the state governor under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to remove the state accountant general Alhaji Mahmud Danjuma Yankatsari with immediate effect.
This followed a motion presented by a member representing Tarauni constituency Hon Abubakar Zakari PA said the directive became necessary because the attitude of the accountant general towards his duties, will not be tolerated and those bohaviours will criffle the development of the state.
Abubakar Zakari P A narrated that the state Assembly Summon him 10 times but he refuse to honour their Invitation and he only send a letter once containing his unaccepted excuses which we are sure if we leave them like this at last al the Accounting activities of the state will end shotly and that is what we will never allow to happened as long as we are alive, because our people, the Good people of Tarauni and kano state at large Send us here to protect their right at all cost, P A narrated.
He mention that when we investigate his entire carrier the result was shown that he is not a professional accountant at all that is why we urge the state government to remove him with immediate effect.
And again we send him several letters requesting the report of the activities of his office almost 7th time but he reuse to answer the House call so with this evidence we cannot allow him to continuous as the Accountant General of the state, we must recall him back.
Investigations reveal that the Accountant General Alhaji Mahmud Danjuma Yankatsari was appointed by former state governor Rabiu Kwankwaso who is Senator Representing kano central and he is among the few loyalist to the former governor which include The Accountant, Member Representing Madobi and member representing Bichi Local Government.
