One thing that distinguishes Mr Rasheed Bola Adekunle, from other grassroots entrepreneurs in Ifelodun community, his love for humanitarian services. As the Chairman and Managing Director of Boladek Global Ventures Limited, he has able to create job opportunities for Ajeromi-Ifelodun youths in the past 10 years in the community.
His venture into premier lotto business which many thought, initially for rogues but Boladek as it is popularly called by friends and admirers, he rebranded the business to attract both erudite and untrained personalities to know the value of the business.
As a graduate of Electrical Engineering from Lagos State Polytechnic, who was once an oil and gas marketer, until a friend advised him to venture into lotto business few years ago? He is one of the major agents of premier lotto business (Baba Ijebu) and 1960 bet in Ifelodun community.
Today, his premier lotto office is located at 5 Bakare Faro street, off Amukoko,Lagos,but one thing that distinguishes his business from others is honesty,credibility,integrity and creativity, he injected into it. To Rasheed Adekunle,I have over 20 terminals for premier lotto and 1960bet,we run on commission, every sincere terminal operator must work hard to remit the company’s money on daily and weekly basis. I don’t play with peoples’ money than be contented with my own. In any business, there is risk taking and sports betting are very lucrative business among youths in Nigeria.
Again,Ifelodun community is a centre of business for those that know their onion in the entrepreneurial leadership. Politics here is being decided by party leaders than the masses. If the party leaders allow masses to decide whom to represent them, then violence would be reduced.
He further averred that most people see lotto business as for touts and never-do-well people in life. It has been a great challenge but with time, people will know the relevance of lotto business in Nigeria.
