Man Utd appoints Mourinho as manager

Manchester United has appointed Jose Mourinho as its manager.

Details of the contract are yet unknown.
The Portuguese, who signed the contract in a London Hotel, replaces Louis Van Gaal who was sacked after two seasons on the hot seat.
