NULGE Is Accused Of Causing LG Salaries Delay In Adamawa State

A grass root politician and concern citizen of Adamawa state, Alh. Murtala Mohammed Isah Zumo blames the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) of being stooges to the Government of the day by failing to fight for the right of her members scattered across the 21 Local Government Area.

Zumo who exonerated the Governor of the state but shift all blames to the NULGE officials by being stooges and psychophants of the government.

"The NULGE in Adamawa state are nothing but group of failures who don't practice true unionism but allow themselves to be bought by the state Government". He Said

" If it is not like that why should the Union not struggle for the Rights of her members but allows the problem to lingers on for months without coming out to give concrete reasonings on the lingering issues. Bindow should never be blame for not paying the LGAs the it's the NULGE official will force him to pay ". He added

He also said the NULGE officials are just there for to enrich themselves and for the interest of the union.

Reacting to the allegations the Public relations of the union Comrade Mohammed Baba Shelleng said it is a baseless allegations which lacks the tastes of truth.

Shelleng revealed since the past four months the union have being struggling to resolve the lingering salaries crisis in the state in which the Government have been given them assurance to see Settle all outstanding salaries soon.

"We and the government we have been in talking terms with assurances of settling all our outstanding salaries, not that we are not fighting their cause, its the Government wouldn't want to hear us". He said

Shelleng is Pleading with all the effected staff of the union to calm down as the final solution will soon unravel itself to show the government their patience is having a limit time.

Meanwhile Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of the state had earlier made a public pronouncement to settle their salaries in few weeks to come.
