World Bank, Kano state government construct farmer access road to boost agriculture business.

World Bank and Kano State under the Commercial Agriculture Development Projects has embarked on construction of three farm access roads in some farming communities situated in Madobi Local Government Area of the state as part of the project’s attempt to ease farmers’ travail during transportation of farm produce from the farm to the market and also to boost agricultural activities.

Speaking to newsmen during a supervision visit to the communities benefiting from the projects, Kano State Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna stated that, the state government is so much concerned on improving farming activities in the state, adding that the World Bank supported commercial agriculture project is committed to ensuring that hurdles militating against improved farming practices have been minimized.
