APC Guber Aspirant, Bimbo Daramola Condoles with Families of 6 Deceased Ekiti Medical Doctors

Firebrand politician and leading aspirant in Ekiti State 2018 guber election, Hon Bimbo Daramola is among prominent Ekiti sons and daughters who are still gripped in shock following the unfortunate auto crash on Sunday which claimed the lives of 6 medical practitioners from Ekiti State on their way to Sokoto.

Congressman, Daramola while reacting to the tragedy took to his Facebook page on Monday and registered his condolence message titled, “IKU SEE IKA….. WHAT A TRAGEDY!!!!”

His message reads, “I just learnt about the Great TRAGEDY that has just befallen my dear state. I sweat as I write this. My hand is shaking and I’m badly shaken in my whole being. Six people at once just like that? God. Six families thrown into this sorrow. Olorun! How do one rationalise this much as we cannot question God and knowing that this is one debt we have to all pay but I think this is too huge.”

The message continues; “My heart goes to these brothers of mine and their immediate and extended families. All these medical doctors from Ekiti who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident yesterday. My heart bleeds. May the good Lord put a stop to these heartbreaking incidences. May the Lord comfort the families and friends, their colleagues and our state. May the Lord comfort us all. This is a huge cross to carry……but God knows best. Eternal rest grant them O Lord.” The message concluded.

It was earlier reported that the six Ekiti State medical doctors, were active members of the prestigious Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) and were driving along Kaduna highway on their way to attend the 56th annual general conference and delegates meeting slated for Sokoto State.

They died on the spot. Their vehicle conveying 14 members somersaulted many times after rear tyre busted on motion and driver under panic measure, subconsciously applied brake. The incident happened about 60 kilometres to Kaduna.
