As Nigerians, we have different cultural values, as well as different tribes.

One thing is common about our parents is, some of them seems to have their choice of tribe or religion for their children while choosing a partner, and they expect it to be followed accordingly.

In some cases they decline the union, when it's not their choice of tribe or religion.

The question is, does religion or tribe matters in love? Shouldn't the choice of a life partner be about what you feel about that person, your connection, understanding and compatibility?

It's been discovered that we sometimes forget the true essence of marriage, by allowing the unimportant things to overshadow the important things.

Research has it that, this two things are still a major criteria in choosing a life partner in Nigeria, do you think it's relevant?
