On DSS False Accusation Against IPOB

We the executive of Njem Igbo Movement, wish to issue this communiqué after our executive meeting here in Umuahia Abia State.

That we are totally dismayed with the DSS officials who falsely disclosed that its agents discovered a mass grave containing Hausa-Fulani residents allegedly killed by members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) in Abia state. We are astonished that a highly classified Federal government spy agency like DSS could release utterance capable of triggering tribal row without even confirming the authenticity of the information .

We asked the federal government to necessitate the arrest of those DSS official who carelessly tend to mislead the people with such false information out of prejudice against IPOB in desperation to label them terrorist group and kneel the leader Nnamdi Kanu .

However, we counsel IPOB brothers and other Biafra/Igbo freedom group to be wiser, intelligent and observant so as not be entrapped, no amount of blackmailing, intimidation will deter the resolute to remain non- violence in pursuit of freedom.

We wish to thank Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and his Abia state counterpart, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for convening a security meeting and issue statement to stall any tribal strife which are capable of erupting from the careless DSS statement.

We will continue to identify with IPOB in seeking our right in a justified manner.
