“Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do”.-Nelson Mandela, former South African President

Bishop (Prof) Leonard Nwaoma Umunna is the Presiding Bishop of Bible Life Church Cathedral (BLCC) and father of church drama in Nigeria. His passionate love for Christ is undiluted where his legacies cannot be swept under the carpet. In Ajegunle, Bishop Umunna is one of the most sought-after minister of God that has love for traditional and social media where is voice is highly respected in both private and public institutions in Nigeria.

His success in ministry never started today but, he worked passionately to ensure that Bible Life Church Cathedral grows from grass to grace. He believes that ministry without result, it means such minister of God must pray for divine direction or quit ministry. Nelson Mandela says “difficulties break some men but make others”. Bishop Umunna has used his difficult times to become creative and committed to God’s kingdom.

One thing you cannot take away from Bishop Umunna is humility, integrity, simplicity and bravery in doing God’s work. To him, everybody would give account of his or her stewardship on earth. According to the said Bishop, God has never allowed me to see defeat or backslide in spite of some cooked facts by some ministers of God to dent my image as a result of drama I acted few years ago.

Though, I have forgiven those who offended me in God’s kingdom. I will continue to do His works till eternity. God called me to Ajegunle for a divine purpose and nothing more. He remains the great bishop of our time with extraordinary legacies in Nigeria and Africa.
