In Ifelodun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, one renowned grassroots entrepreneur in person of Mr.Rasheed Bola Adekunle,the Chief Executive Officer of Global Ventures Limited, is gradually creating grassroots employment opportunities to unemployed youths in the community.
He came into lottery business when the business where majorly met for uneducated people until he brought his academic knowledge into the system. His popularity became known when he started opening several outlets and DSTV sale points in Ifelodun community. He is popularly called as’Mr Boladek’ by his admirable friends.
As a trained Electrical Engineering from Lagos State Polytechnic, he has able to impact positively in the lives many Ifelodun youths over the years. In grassroots politics, he has always been advocating for best hands to represent the people at any level of leadership in Nigeria. Though in politics, he has no interest than making young lives to be comfortable. Having received many meritorious awards from different organizations in Nigeria, his humility continues to grow in Ifelodun community. As a down-to-earth personality, he has able to show that wealth does not give happiness than giving to the society as philanthropic gesture.
No one has ever alleged that Adekunle defrauded or cheated in business transaction in Ifelodun community than showering encomiums on a man that wants entrepreneurial change in the community.
