The Growing Bilateral Ties Of Imo State

It is obvious to keen watchers of the numerous achievements of the Governor Okorocha led Rescue Mission Administration, that it has jump-started on the growth of bilateral relations between the State and Countries for further development and economic advancement of the state.

In this light, the Deputy Chief of Staff Liaison and External Relations Hon. Mrs. Mma Nzeribe-Michael on assumption at the Imo State Liaison Office, Abuja initiated similar discussions with Country Representatives, Ambassadors, Diplomats on trade and investment relationships with the state.

Today,Hon.Nzeribe-Micheal was at the Embassy of the Russian Federation to hold talks on, "IMO STATE IS VIABLE FOR INVESTMENTS UNDER THE RESCUE MISSION ADMINISTRATION,"

She was received by the Minister Counselor Sergey Chumarev, the Counselor Dmitry Rumyantsev,and the Deputy Head of Mission (Trade and Economic).

Hon.Nzeribe-Michael spoke on these areas:Profile of the State, Cultural heritage, Solid Minerals, Education, Tourism, Trade and Investment opportunities,Wildlife and the vision to visible stance of the Rescue Mission Administration in 5years.

Responding,the Russian delegation expressed profound joy at her visit which they said was the first from the state,and assured her of their cooperation to partner with the state especially in the areas of Rubber extraction, Mechanized Agriculture, Ceramic productions, Educational Scholarships in Science and Medicine, Gas exploration and others.

The Deputy Chief of Staff would be leading a delegation from Russia to the State.
