NCP URGED TO WORK HAND IN HAND WITH NIGERIA HIGH COMMISSION TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA IN PAKISTAN

Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede has felicitated the newly elected President of Nigerian Community in Pakistan (NCP) Charles Emencheta and Vice President, NCP, Prince Oluyemi Ibrahim Olabulo as well as the Executive Council members of Nigerian Community in Pakistan who have been chosen by the Nigerians in Pakistan in the recently concluded free and fair Elections.


While extending heartiest congratulations to the Nigerian Community in Pakistan (NCP), Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede has also urged the NCP Executive Council Members to work with one heart hand in hand with Pakistan Nigeria High Commission to promote and protect the interests of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Pakistan.


Thanking the Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, the incumbent President of NCP, Charles Emencheta assured the Nigeria High Commission Pakistan that NCP will work in close coordination to better promote the image of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Pakistan besides enhancing better understanding between two brotherly countries.


Vice President, NCP, Prince Oluyemi Ibrahim Olabulo said that NCP body was established in 2006 under a Constitution approved by the Nigeria High Commission in Pakistan to promote shared vision and common objectives of south-south cooperation between Nigeria and Pakistan. The tenure of the office for the elected officers is for two years.


Prince Oluyemi Ibrahim Olabulo, Vice President, NCP further said that NCP is playing a major role of educating the Nigerians coming to Pakistan for strengthening business activities and promoting good image of Nigeria to people of Pakistan; obey the laws of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and shun illegal activities.


Prince Oluyemi Ibrahim Olabulo, Vice President, NCP paid tribute to the people of Pakistan who are peace loving and asked the Nigeria High Commission Pakistan to pursue the Pakistan Ministry of Interior for issuance of special Residential Permits and Working Permits to the Nigerians residing in Pakistan.
