By Fun Code Media

As the expected date for Abia North senatorial election rerun draws nearer, the candidate of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), Chief Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has assured his followers and loyalist to shun all forms of intimidation that would come from his opponents, adding that security wise, he should be lauded for having the military in his pocket.

Speaking in Arochukwu where his campaign train landed recently, the former governor charged his supporters to remain steadfast in their cause for his victory.

He pledged his reach and commitment to serve after March 5, 2016, saying he would be available to all, even as hopes being an efficient representative at the Senate.

Meanwhile, the two time governor of Abia had earlier made this statement when he hosted the traditional rulers from Umunneochi local government area in the State.

While making a confidence speech of his victory, he assured that he has been able to reach all the security agencies within the zone, especially the military which he boasted is under his control.

Furthermore, our source gave a hint of how the Army Chief in-charge of Ohafia Military Cantonment, Brig. Gen. Anthony L. Fajikwe paid him a visit in his Igbere hometown last Thursday at about 8pm.

Over what led to the Brigadier General’s visit, our source could not ascertain, but from Orji Uzor Kalu’s earlier claims and assertion of having the military in his pocket, one could sense his meanness to such statement.

“The Brigadier General is meant to learn lessons from what happened at Ekiti polls, and forget about this wicked, selfish and malicious perpetrators,” our source reacted.
