Ever since Hon. Rita Odichinma Orji, Chairman Committee Diaspora matters, representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency was elected, some underground grassroots developments have been achieved to some extent. The victory of Rita Orji was the victory for all Ajegunle residents that felt there was need to change the baton of leadership which was politically hijacked by some highly placed politicians over the years.

The game theory now is that Hon.Rita Orji is yet to fulfill her political promises made at 2015 general elections but some elements only wanted to drag her good name to the mud within Ajeromi-Ifelodun community. Apart from joining the murky waters of Nigeria’s politics, Barr.Rita Orji was already an established entrepreneur and renowned Tasly world marketer with a pedigree who has used her position to create jobs for the teeming population within Ajegunle and beyond. She had one of the best grassroots campaigns that saw the ruling political candidates losing the three Ajeromi-Ifelodun seats to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The issue that Barr.Rita Orji is yet to fulfill her political promises coupled with the present global economic meltdown, she has been making some fruitful efforts to create political awareness for the people. Many have accused her of stomach infrastructure in Ajeromi-Ifelodun which she has been embarking upon before contesting for Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal constituency. In terms of sinking boreholes and other infrastructural developments, God has been doing great works through me in Ajeromi-Ifelodun.At 47; Rita Orji is a reputable Ajegunle grassroots politician whose philanthropic gesture has helped to alleviate poverty from the land. Her entrepreneurial legacies are worthy to be emulated to the core. She remains the political jewel of Ajeromi-Ifelodun politics and also contributing massively to grassroots sports in the community.
