Arms deal: Judge orders AGF to produce Dasuki in court

Justice Adeniyi Ademola of Abuja Federal High Court on Wednesday ordered the ‎Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami (SAN) to produce former National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Col. Sambo Dasuki.

Justice Ademola made the order‎ at the resumed hearing of the case of unlawful possession of firearms and money laundering against Dasuki.

The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mohammed Diri had asked the court to revoke the bail granted Dasuki.‎

He also asked the court to vacate the order granting him leave to travel for medical treatment.

The judge ruled that the case being a criminal matter, the accused person must always be present in court.
