#IDPClothesDrive: ENDS Loading Bales Of Clothes To IDP Camps In Borno

The ENDS socio-philanthropic organization in continuation of its global #IDPClothesDrive has just loaded vehicles for Borno with clothes for displaced persons. Last year ENDS distributed over 8000 pieces of clothing and other materials along with NEMA and other International agencies.

Thanks to a most philanthropic general public, we again have over 30,000 pieces of clothing and other items across Nigeria to be shipped to Borno. While struggling with the issues of immense cost for transportation we are thankful to our donors, partner radio stations like Freedom FM Kano, Top 90.9 Lagos and others as well as transport companies like Borno Express who are helping this process beyond words. We also thank the Office of the Presidency on IDPs for their support and promise of assistance in this monumental obligation and task.

The pictures displayed here are of the clothes collected by JICD in JOS, to be distributed by ENDS in the Northeast IDPs.

On the latest shipment, JICD (Jasawa Initiative For Community Development) released the statement:

"The large Ghana must go was from khairy, Kwana shagari collection centre. It was delivered to JICD at the shop (Terminus) some weeks back.

"The clothes were initially packed into sacs(about 15).They were later repackaged as shown into 8 bales to occupy smaller area and reduce transport cost!.

"They were given to Borno Express for delivery to ENDS officials in Maiduguri Tomorrow.

"May Allah reward All JICD Exco, Donors & Members for their relentless effort in supporting JICD programs."

Also last week ENDS coordinators, Attorney Baba Aliko, Mr Bagarga and others distributed snacks to happy children in IDP camps.

Nigeria thanks you.
We thank Nigeria for this opportunity to be of service.

Thank you!
