Again, Turkish Airlines arrives Abuja without passengers' luggage

A Turkish Airlines plane, yesterday, arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja without  passengers luggage. This happened two weeks after the airline arrived same airport without  passengers luggage which led to the passengers invading the tarmac to prevent the aircraft from taking off.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Engr Saleh Dunoma,  expressed displeasure at the development and Turkish Airlines advised to resolve  recurrent cases of planes arriving without passengers luggage.

According to Mr Yakubu Dati, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Dunoma gave the advice at the Abuja airport where he expressed the Aviation Minister 's displeasure to the management of Turkish Airlines.

Dati said: 'Engr Dunoma  described as unacceptable this reoccurrence barely two weeks after a similar incident led to a breach of airport security. He called for quick and lasting resolution of this unwholesome act capable of disrupting the peace and harmony of the airport '.
