Imo Lawmaker Assures Of People-Oriented Legislation

The member representing Orsu state constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Uche Agabige has assured his constituents and Imolites of result and people- oriented legislations.

Speaking to newsmen at the Assembly complex, Hon. Agabige noted that the people of the state will witnessed an unprecedented legislation that will take the state to greater height, adding that with the vibrant lawmakers in place, it is expected that they will not fail the people of the state.

The Chairman, House Committee on Information, Agabige posited that the House will reposition the information system, since according to him, information is power. He commended the Assembly Correspondents for their reportage which has geared towards projecting the image of the House.

He extolled the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim for carrying all the lawmakers along in bringing the needed legislations that will put the state souring high in comity of states. He revealed that the House has provided enabling laws for the state to move forward, especially that the laws on increasing the IGR of the state is enhanced operational.

The State Government led by Governor Rochas Okorocha has also ensured that every sector of the economy is vibrant, thereby working with every stakeholders, bringing investors to develop the state.

He urged all and sundry to continue to pray for the state, while calling on them to be patient with the government, bearing in mind the present economic situation.
