Newstip: Fiwan's Chuma Mmeka Consoles Celebrity Andy Chukwu On Hisfather's Death

All is now set for the paying of last respects to Andy Chukwu father at Ishiagu.

In a solemn message broadcasted by Andy Chukwu, and confirmed by the Forum

of Independent Writers and Actors in Nigeria (FIWAN), the prominent movie

star's father will be bade farewell on Friday 27 and Saturday 28, November

2015 at his home town Obinagu, Ishiagu in Ebonyi State.

Andy Chukwu who is also a frontline Nigerian film director, script writer

and humanitarian, in his message, implored all friends and well-wishers

from the movie world and beyond, to join him in this last show of respect

to his father.
Though the distance may be trying, the event promises to be a large turnout

of the who-is-who of Nollywood and the creme of society.

A consolation letter sent to the bereaved family by the FIWAN Coordinator

Chuma Mmeka reads in part "We join you and the entire Chukwu family in this

period of sorrow. Though words and tears will never be adequate consolation

for the loss of a loved one, we ask you to take consolation that Pa Chukwu

lived a good life worthy of emulation. We pray God to grant you the

fortitude to bear this irreparable loss".
Chuma Mmeka equally urged all FIWAN Members to turn out en masse at the

funeral.
