4th Sustainability In The Extractive Industries Conference - SITEI 2015

The Sustainability in the Extractive Industries (SITEI) Conference is an annual workshop established and organised by CSR-in-Action.

This conference brings together key stakeholders to discuss critical issues in the industries and stimulate meaningful exchange of ideas and best practices among key stakeholder groups and industry experts.

The conference was birthed in conjunction with the Deputy High Commission of Canada in October 2012 in Lagos.

The year's event tagged: "Unlocking The Hidden Potential in the Extractive Industries" held Thursday 19th November and had on the panel: The minister of states for solid minerals Honourable Bawa Bwari Abubakar, Lara Banjoke (CEO Zone 4 energy Limited), Omamofe Boyo, Deputy Group Chief Executive, Oando Plc; Prof Stephen Vertigans, Robert Gordon University; Prof Ikenna Onyido, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Prof Wale Omole, Chairman, CSR-in-Action/ Chairman, Editorial Board, Guardian.

The event which held at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre, Abuja featured an exhibition, panel discussions, the red carpet session and the official unbelieving of the Good Citizen Campaign by the Executive Director of CSR-in-action; Bekeme Masade.
