Boko Haram Kingpin Arrested In Maiduguri

The men of the Nigeria Policemen from the Zone 12 Command have arrested one of the wanted leaders of the Boko Haram group, Muhammed Usman, who was a few days ago declared wanted by the Nigerian Army.

The arrest of the suspect followedt he investigative and

surveillance activities carried out by the Command supervised by the Assistant Inspector General

of Police in charge of zone 12 ,, Assistant Inspector General of Police Tunde Ogunsakin.

The suspect was arrested by police detectives , attached to Borno State Police Command , who were on cordon and search operation for members and leaders of the terror group in all parts of Maiduguri last Sunday.

Muhammadu Usman has since been handed over to the men of 7 Disivion Headquarters of the Nigerian Army for gurther investigation and persecution while efforts have been intensified at tracking the suspects still at large.

AIG Tunde Ogunsakin praised the public for their cooperation which led to the arrest of the suspected terrorist stressing that security is the duty of all.
