Why Some Politicians In Kenya Must Respect The International Criminal Court At The Hague

The highest level of social immorality is when a politician or a person in the elected position struggles to preserve a corrupt and irresponsible government. More worse is when the sycophancy of the same politician goes into his head and he loses moral control only to turn into a loose verbal canon against international institutions at the expenses of an ordinary citizen whose country is diplomatically buckled by these same balderdash of the political layabouts.

I am talking about the Jubilee Politicians in Kenya. They are part of the current government. Their political part is known as Jubilee. They include Aden Duale and a few others. I pray, their sense of control is now overboard. They should not be given any audience. Why; simply because they don’t represent the people of Kenya. They are only cheap mouths for hire through which the political magnates of Kenya are channeling their shenanigans, a usual hall-marker of any political no-hoper.

Recently, these Politicians from Kenya wrote a letter in protestation against the International Criminal Court, and now this week their mouths are wide open in full-fledged excoriations of the prosecutor at ICC in the Haque, Fatou Bensouda. When you listen to them, you might mistake yourself for being a visitor at the city mental hospital. They are all cursing Bensouda for her prosecutorial duties against the two Kenyans facing charges of crimes against humanity and rape.

They are cursing Bensouda as if they are not aware that she is carrying out her formal duties, as if they are not aware that discussing the matter in court is a criminal offence under sub-judice rule, as if they are not aware that Kenya is a signatory to the Rome statute. My God, they are possessed with the devil of insecure political future threatened by the self shadow now as a gnome from the nether world of future general elections, 2017.

These are the same politicians protecting a patrimonial capitalism at home in Kenya. Legislating oppressive laws that tyrannize the Kenyan poor, they are always in the full uniform of legislative terrorism to gag the freedom of the media in Kenya, they shield corruption perpetrated by their political masters as if they don’t need their country tomorrow and I mean they are now an enemy and backlog to inclusive democracy in Kenya through their childish and senseless political scum of tyranny of numbers which in the real sense is tyranny of frivolity.

To be sincere on this matter, the rights to justice for the victims that were damaged and injured in the 2007 political violence in Kenya must not be legally drowned in the ocean of political skullduggery as now perpetrated by Kenyan politicians through open disrespect for the International Criminal Court. The rights of Kenyans to legal justice need not to be sacrificed at a foul altar of chicanery politics in the contemporary swank of Aden Duale who has only helped to resurrect the ghost of Sharrif Nassir dancing to the social darkness of Nyayo philosophy of sycophancy, tribal exclusion and brutal torture of any voice dressed in objectivity.

I mean these; we as Africans strongly need the international criminal court in the Hague. Without it Africa will be a fleshpot, and cauldrons won’t be the muscles of the Jews this time, but the innumerable cadavers of African bodies killed through murderous experiment of African political socialization. And this is possible. This reality then should not be obfuscated by the political claques of the Jubilee Governement in Kenya and other related political double speakers like Museveni of Uganda.African societies need ICC and thus African leaders must respect the ICC.
