Corruption: EFCC Arrests Former Benue Governor, Suswam

BEVERLY HILLS, October 12, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the immediate past governor of Benue State, Mr. Gabriel Suswam, on allegations of graft perpetrated during his tenure as governor.

Suswam was detained early Monday afternoon when he arrived at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja following an earlier invitation.

The politician served as governor from 2007-2015.
