Niger Delta Youths Endorse Gov. Dickson For 2nd Term

An NGO Niger Delta Youth Development Center has thrown its weight behind the RE-ELECTION bid of his Excellency Rt. Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson for Governor of Bayelsa State come Dec. 5th, 2015.

speaking in Yenagoa, the Coordinator Comrade Jonah Daumieye D. Says the endorsement is propelled by the way the Governor has handled the state affairs for the past 3years plus.

He said "I wonder why we can't call a spade a spade because of greed for power. If the opposition candidate Chief Timipre Sylva will be honest to himself, he knows Gov. HSD has done enough to be given a second term. When he Sylva was the Governor was there any space for opposition to leave and carry out their affairs peacefully? Today it's even the opposition that is brewing trouble in the state". He also said " The country man Governor has done a lot. Look around and ask infrastructure is improving, security system is water tight, education sector has been lifted up to another dimension, Youth and general human capacity building has been taken to another stage. And I ask myself if this Governor can do these with the dwindling revenue, what will he not achieve when things get better".

It would be recalled that the Niger Delta Youth Development Center was registered in 2014 and has so far trained at least 1500 youths of the Niger Delta on various skills free of charge.
