Corruption: EFCC Invites Suswam

SAN FRANCISCO, October 09, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited the immediate past Governor of Benue State, Mr. Gabriel Suswam for questioning over allegations of corruption during his 8-year rule.

The politician who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is expected to defend himself against allegations that he embezzled millions of naira towards the end of his tenure.

THEWILL understands that the EFCC had questioned the immediate past Commissioner of Finance, Mr. Omadachi Oklobia on Friday over allegations of corruption.

Suswam, according to EFCC sources is scheduled to meet with EFCC investigators on Monday in Abuja.
