PHOTOS: President Buhari, VP Osinbajo, Saraki, Dogara, NASS Principal Officers Meet At Aso Rock

SAN FRANCISCO, October 08, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Wednesday night had a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly with Senate President, Bukola Saraki and House Speaker Yakubu Dogara leading principal officers of the two chambers of the National Assembly.

However, Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who is from opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was not in attendance.

The meeting according to Saraki who briefed the press deliberated on issues of national interest, including the 2016 budget.

Saraki added that the meeting signifies a good working relationship between executive and legislative arms of Nigeria’s Federal Government which is a necessity for National development.
