BEVERLY HILLS, October 05, (THEWILL) – The identities of persons arrested across London alongside Nigeria's immediate past Petroleum Resources Minister, Mrs. Deziani Alison-Madueke, have been unveiled.

They are Deziani's mother, Beatrice Agama, her notorious stepson, Ugonna Madueke and her assistant, a Swiss, Melanie Spencer.

The identity of the fourth person remained unclear as at the time of writing.

A freelance journalist covering the story for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Sam Piranty, uncovered their identities.

Their arrest warrant for alleged bribery and money laundering was executed on Friday morning by the National Crime Agency (NCA) of Great Britain. They were however released on bail a few hours later after questioning.

Deziani did not make an appearance Monday, but her mother and Spencer were at the Westminster Magistrate Court where the court authorized the seizure of at least 27, 000 GBP confiscated by authorities on Friday from her.

News reports said the NCA also filed and got authorization to freeze other undisclosed sums for six months (till April) to allow prosecution time to conclude investigations into the alleged crime.

The UK authorities are yet to file formal charges against Deziani and others.
