Fayose Behind Ministerial Rumor

A stalwart of the APC and ex-speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Femi Bamisile has described the ministerial rumor of discomfort within the APC as a "plot" orchestrated by the incumbent Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose.

Bamisile said the Governor is jittery with the characters in the ministerial-shortlists from the State in Dr. Fayemi and Mr. Femi Falana SAN, the renowned international human rights and anti-corruption activist.

Speaking with some civil society groups on research on his opinion about the choice of Mr. Falana as against the immediate past Governor, Dr. Fayemi, Bamisile said "Everyone knows that both are proud sons of Ekiti State who have the best interest of our dear State at heart"

"Just as we all read that Mr. Falana was cleared by the DSS, likewise Dr. Fayemi. It is in the collective interest of Ekiti to have both leaders making the State proud"

"Mr. Falana is a professional whose character as an anti-corruption activist is at best the interest of the President, Mr. Buhari and what our party (APC) stands for. Dr. Fayemi is also a big factor in the Political circle of the Nation and intellectual property that Nigeria cannot afford to loose. Likewise a lot of others like HE Segun Oni, HE Otunba Adebayo, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Hon Opeyemi Bamidele and a host of others. All these have alot to render to Nigeria"

On the news heard on the State-owned media homes, Bamisile said

"I can authoritatively tell you that the news was orchestrated by Governor Fayose, just as he said I had decamped the last time. There was no point where signatures of party members were collated to write a petition against Mr. Falana. The question is why is Governor Fayose crying more than the bereaved on his own BSES (media home)?"

"The Governor is jittery now with Falana coming on board because he knows that his corruption-free season is over"

The Ex-speaker was boastful that the appointment is welcomed within the party describing him as a new signing.

"In actual fact, the party is happy that we now have Mr. Falana as one of us and alot of Ekiti leaders of the APC are principal player in the National Political scene. Falana is a new signing."

Bamisile implored the Presidency to engaged more Ekiti sons and daughters in the course of Change in the country.
