BIAFRA: Ikom Youths Protest

On 28th August 2015 Ikom youths under the aegis of Biafra National Youth League stormed Ekpache Nkome ancient Kingdom in Cross River State protesting that a referendum be conducted for Indegenous people of Biafra and the return of Bakassi Peninsula.

Leader of the group,Comrade Prince Chimezie Obuka who addressed the members at Ekukunela town hall lamented the seed of disunity planted in the Old Eastern Region by the Muslim North.

The Youth League President condemned the ceding of Biafra territory, Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon and blamed General Yakubu Gowon for the loss of Bakassi.

Comrade Obuka further criticised the APC Govt for launching air strike in Cross River State and Akwa ibom state that killed 250 innocent people while abandoning Boko Haram to continue the provocative killings of innocent people in the North.
