Former Senator In The Second Republic Declares Interest In PDP Chairmanship

Following the resignation of People's Democratic Party National Chairman, Adamu Mu'azu of Bauchi state, the office of the party's National chairman has been vacant.

Many party Men has been jostling of the office, warranting the Former Senator in second Republic, Senator Paul Wampana Vimtim expresses his intention to contest for the exalted position of National Chairman of the party

Paul who through his lawyers submit a letter of expression of interest to contest for position of national chairman of people's Democratic Party (PDP) to Journalist in Yola

Said"Our clients States that a National Chairman for the party who will operate for the first time from point of opposition and not the ruling party position as usual, requires a selfless party loyalist full of experience and integrity and also dedicated or committed to the service of the party with a view to bringing the party back to its known glory and to remain the largest party in Africa"

The letter which extolled the good qualities of Senator Paul Wampana Vimtim as one time speaker of a state House of Assembly ( the then Gongola state), one time state chairman of People's Democratic Party, one time minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, recently ,the past National vice chairman of PDP north east zone.

His legal adviser,Barr S.N Mathew Esq who appended his signature in the letter added that there cannot be better Man handle the office than his client, senator wampana.

On recent days the likes of Bala Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi), Nuhu Ribadu and Paul Wampana Vimtim all from North East have seen to be struggling for the exalted seat of the biggest opposition party in the country.
