I am Happy i retired honourably and a fulfilled four star general.....Badeh

The former chief of defence, Air Marshal Alex Badeh said is a fulfilled Man having retired honourably in the services of Nigerian Air force where he sojourned for 38 years six moths and ten days without any blemish.

Badeh said this while entertaining question from a group of Journalist in his House in Yola after been received by the Governor of Adamawa state,Senator Muhammadu Bindow Jibrilla with a mammoth crowd accorded to him to celebrate his arrival on his retirement.

Yola international airport filled up as people came from all works of life to give him a heroic welcome especially his kinsmen from Vimtim,his home town in Mubi North LGA.

He appreciated the former president of Nigeria,Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for appointing even when is due for retirement,counting it a big confidence reposing on him to worked with him for more than thirty five years during his tenure as the chief security of the country.

"To me the president to have appointed to serve even when i was due for retirement is just a major of confidence reposed on me and he want to still appreciate what i was doing haven seen my effort in the previous years to as chief of defence staff." Badeh said

Badeh advice the leaders of the country to do the right thing for people,by creating jobs for the teaming unemployed youths in country as it is the real cause of insurgency.

He ascribed all glory to God for given him the opportunity to fly air crafts which is the pride of any air force officer,but God surprise him beyond that and even made him the number one man in the issue of security in the country.

"Me being a pilot is actually a fulfllment of what i wanted to do which was the ultimate for me, it was in that premise i became chief of air staff and later chief of defence staff " He said

To him haven passed through the levels of Military cadres which has some adminstrative terms gives him advantage to work with politician Perfectly.

According to him at some point of the other his job becomes more of an administrators than a military

He called on Nigeria to support the presence Government under president Muhammadu Buhari for the concious effort is making to halt the issues of insurgent.

He also commended the president for moving the headquarters of the military to Borno as the wisest decision,haven known him to be a retired military man.
