The Dream Team VI had to rush off the Pointe Noire Stadium on Saturday afternoon after being stopped by the hosts

Stadium officials in Pointe Noire, Congo, disrupted the Nigeria U23 team's training on the main pitch on Saturday ahead of Sunday's African U23 Championship final qualifier, Goal has learnt.

A source within the nigeria camp disclosed that stadium officials stopped the team from concluding its mandatory one hour warm up.

The Dream Team VI was forced to abandon its training and return to the hotel ahead of schedule as officials decided not to argue with the hosts.

Coach Samson Siasia is also planning to for the strike partnership of Taiwo Awoniyi and Junior Ajayi to lead the attack against Congo.

However, this could be against his earlier declared talk of going to protect the team's 2-1 lead from the first leg in Port Harcourt.

In-form captain Azubike Okechukwu is expected to start ahead of Kingsley Sokari.

Before being eased out of training, Siasia and the technical crew drilled the players on free-kicks and penalties.

The Nigerian team is expected to wear its home colours of green and white stripe while the hosts would adorn their traditional red. Goa
