EFCC Invites Mrs. Saraki, Yar'Adua's Daughter Over Alleged Money Laundering

BEVERLY HILLS, July 22, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited Mrs. Toyin Saraki, the wife of Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki's and Mrs. Zainab Dakingari, the daughter of deceased President Umar Yar'Adua for questioning over allegations of money laundering.

The alleged infraction occurred when their spouses' served as Governor of Kwara State and Kebbi State.

Zainab has been slated for questioning at the EFCC's headquarters in Abuja on July 27 while Toyin will be interviewed on July 28.

EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwajaren confirmed that the anti-graft agency had invited several high profile individuals for questioning but said he didn't have further information on the development.
