Multiple Bombs Rock Gombe City

SAN FRANCISCO, July 22, (THEWILL) – At least three high calibre bombs Wednesday night rocked Gombe city, the capital of Gombe State, sending residents into a frenzy.

THEWILL gathered that the explosions occurred at the Dadin-Kowa Motor Park, along Biu Road.

Many persons were killed in the blast, an emergency worker told THEWILL.

Witnesses said the bombs were placed in bags.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks which police sources said is being treated as an act of terrorism.
