“The ancient Greek Philosopher, Aristotle said that anger and personal abuse are the weakest link to arguments”

We were taken aback by an article published by Sahareporters.com of 6th July 2015, titled Okowa Appoints Kill Squad Leader as Principal Secretary, it is obvious that the above online media was under irresistible pressure to enlist in the (hit squad) Delta state under the watch of Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa by the opposition party, using Sahareporters as a platform to malign the stainless reputation of a man who has now become the face of integrity in Delta state.

We know that opposition party in the state will stop at nothing, haven't lost out woefully in the general election and now resort to sentiments, mudslinging and character assassination.

Interestingly however, like a traditional oracle whose mind is fixed, Deltans in their clamor for good governance voted immensely for Sen Ifeanyi Okowa. Supporters of the Governor have remained resolute and unflinching in their zeal to support the present administration to succeed.

By journalism standard sahareporters have betrayed the moral reportage expected of them. As a respected member of the Online media, to carefully consider all shades of issues that informed their report on any matter.

By this hatchet job to damage the person and reputation of Mr. Hilary Ibegbulem, the Principal Secretary to Governor Okowa, Sahareporters had become an embarrassment to the fourth-estate, admires, readership with this diatribe against Governor Okowa's administration.

Investigations have shown that, this would not be the first time Sahareporters would be reach out against the present administration from self-righteously indignant lecterns.

The publication reminds one of the truth that indeed, most of the giants online media in the world are of the like passions for malicious stories. Worse still, most of them are actually standing on clay feet and would fail the test of a gentle push or inducement.

Otherwise, who would have believed that the Sahareporters would maintain a safe distance from the heart of a malicious campaign that is a potential threat to the peace, security and safety of the people of Delta state, then collect exaggerated stories and jaundiced perspectives from familiar propagandists and character assassins, and promptly summon the media dish out such garbage.

It's an embarrassment to sahareporters throng of admirers and followers, that a revered media platform who used to be a gauge of media morality in this nation, would lend itself to a propaganda of high drive, to appeal the wishes of the opposition party.
