There is a popular saying that “life begins at 40” which Prophet Dr Stephen Akharume,the General Overseer and founder Trumpets of Truth Bible Church International now falls into the achievers category of young prophets in Nigeria. He was born on the 23rd of June in 1975 to the family of Pa Akharume of Edo State.
As a child growing up from a poor background, he knew that one day; his prophetic voice would be heard in all over the world. Having lived in Ogun and Edo States for many years and tasted the bitterness of poverty through Okada riding until God called him to a prophetic ministry which is fast becoming a rescue spot for depressed Christians in Africa.40 years is not 40 days in a life of man that is popularly known as” Oracle” in Nigeria. Trumpets of Truth Bible Church International is one of the sought after churches in Oghara town of Delta State where live miracles are performed regularly through Dr.Stephen Akharume.
Prophet Stephen started his calling from Edo state and got God’s message to start off from Oghara village in Delta State where many of his contemporaries felt he was mad but knew where he was going in life.Today, Trumpets of Truth Bible Church that started with just few members now having two services every Sunday with large numbers of worshippers across the globe.40 years of glorious deliverance for the oppressed in Nigeria through Stephen Akharume.He has travelled far and wide and still working assiduously to see that Trumpets of Truth Bible Church has a cable TV for all viewers in the world. He never allowed his poor background to deter his prophetic calling than seeing his creative vision. Though his biological mother knew what his son would be in life and immediately informed him about the misery that surrounded his birthday in Edo State.
Finally, he remains the iconic prophet of our time with enviable legacies. 40 years is just the beginning of his ministry and he is ready to take Trumpets of Truth Bible Church to the Promised Land. He is happily married to a Nigerian-American based working wife with children. He has also received a meritorious award from Mallam Africa and others. On Sunday 28th of June, 2015 at Oghara Town in Delta State, Trumpets of Truth Bible Church members will be organising a birthday bash to an indefatigable oracle prophet of Edo State. The service will commence by 8.00am to celebrate the only oracle prophet of the century. Once again, happy birthday, God will give you more grace to fulfil your dreams on earth.
