Break The Shackles Of Lautech Debacles 1

By Oluwatomilola Tomi

My God, You’re the conqueror of DEATH and the Devil- the master of Evil; and Evil is subject to You. You are the God of life, and life is mightier than Death; of light, and light triumphs over darkness. There is no one like You to help the powerless against the mighty. You’re the God that swallow up death in victory; and wipe away tears from off all faces.

I come before You as Your prophet; like the Prophet Isaiah: I Cry aloud, lift up my voice like a trumpet, and show your people their transgression, and the House of LAUTECH their Sins. Like the Prophet Jeremiah, I lament and cry for your people in this house of LAUTECH; and like Jeremiah, who bought land in Jerusalem when he knew that His People were to be carried away to Captivity but would return in 70 years, that same "Hope for a Better LAUTECH" is like "Fire Shut Up in My Bones.” Like the Prophet Nehemiah, I’m "on the Wall" and just like the Eagle, I can see Everything; the Good, the Bad and the Ugly that You have shown me.

I come today to just ask You, to show Your power over darkness and stop the plague of DEATH that strikes this land like forever. You promised us three scores and ten and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, but before our eyes, we see our people dying before their three scores and ten. I come today God, to just ask You to stop the death. Stop the death! Stop the death! You stopped it, you ceased it in the land of Israel; cease it in this land of LAUTECH. I come to ask You to heal this land, and as well purge LAUTECH of the untimely deaths.

Just as it is expected, we’ve wondered what could be the cause(s) of these unpleasant situations. Could it be the way you actually want it? NO! We believe you’re not wicked because your plans and purposes for our lives are good and not evil. Our sins must have brought us this low, so we believe. We know something wrong somewhere - we are not living the way you want us to live. Our moral tone is low, social habits vicious, and like the surfeited inhabitants of Sodom, we’ve given up to sensuality. In this land are many tribes; and some of the tribes have defrauded the righteous via internet and robbed of valuable goods at gun-point while some out of their desperation for earthly riches shed the blood of the innocents.

Truly we’ve sinned against You. We have trespassed, we have been faithless, we have robbed, we have spoken basely, we have committed iniquities, we have wrought unrighteousness, we have been presumptuous, we have done violence, we have forged lies, we have counselled evil, we have spoken falsely, we have scoffed, we have revolted, we have blasphemed, we have been rebellious, we have acted perversely, we have transgressed, we have persecuted, we have been stiff-necked, we have done wickedly, we have corrupted ourselves, we have committed abomination, we have gone astray, and we have led astray.

We have turned aside from Your commandments and good judgments, and it hath profited us nought. But You’re righteous in all that is come upon us; for You’ve acted truthfully, but we have wrought unrighteousness. What shall we say before You, that dwell on high, and what shall we recount unto You, who abide in the heavens? Only You know all things, both the hidden and the revealed? You know the secrets of eternity and the most hidden mysteries of all living. Show Your mercy upon us and grant us Your salvation; rescue us from this dominion of darkness.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion- inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself. Show Your mercy, remember we are dust wherever we have lost the way, stretch your hands divine. Let Your compassion come quickly to meet us, for we are brought very low. Help us for Your name's sake; out of the goodness of Your love, deliver us.

You proclaimed that if only we can confess our sins, You’ll forgive us and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. You had said: "O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.” “I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. (Heb. 8:12). “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Here I am, as Your prophet in this land, to confess the sins and transgressions of my people for You to be faithful and just to us; forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness and then heal our land from death monster. I confess before thee, that we, one and all of us, are sinners; we have merited thy indignation. I know that we have broken Your laws and our sins have separated us from You. Merciful God and Father, hear our prayer, the cry of our heart as I come to You on their behalf. We’ve acknowledged our transgressions. Show us mercy and compassion; show us Your gracious love and deliver us. Withhold not Your tender mercies from us; may Your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect us.

For all your people in this LAUTECH community, bring deliverance and well-being, grace, loving-kindness and mercy, life and peace. Remember us, our God, thereon for our wellbeing; be mindful of us for blessing, and save us unto life; by thy promise of salvation and mercy, spare us and be gracious unto us; have mercy upon us and save us; for our eyes are bent upon thee, because thou art a gracious and merciful God. Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Who can help us in this strife? You and only You! We’ve endured enough cataclysmic consequences for our sins. Like you healeth the land of Israel from barrenness and untimely death, do so unto this land of LAUTECH. Like you restored Judah from its death-state of captivity, and to the wiping away of the tears the captives shed when they hung their harps upon the willows; do so unto this land of LAUTECH. Our triumph over death is assured; and foretaste of it is given in the conquest of the Lord Jesus over the grave, so we believe. You’re the Conqueror of death; so we rely on You, and in Your name I have come against this vast vicious monster terrorizing our land.

I kneel, bow, pray and ask for Your mercies upon us. No matter what we do or the preventive measures we may put in place to avert such occurrence- we can give the Motorcycle riders the uniform number plates and jackets for recognition; we can bring over a hundred Keke NAPEP; we can let the Campus Shuttle joined with scores of Ajumose bus and the thoroughly used Macopolo of more a rickety box on four wheels donated by Sen. Jumoke Akinjide, be active round the clock but without taking these to you in prayer, it will be a futile endeavour.
