We are to settled down for governance- Darius

The newly sworn-in Governor of Taraba state, Arch Darius Ishaku has today called on all politicians in the state to forget about their political differences and join hand with him to build a Taraba of their dreams.

Darius said this when reading his acceptance speech immediately he took the oath of office administered to him by Justice Josephine Tuktur, he promised to defends and pledge true allegiance to the constitution of the Federal Republic.

"We are to settle down for governance the time of politics has passed, let's join our hands together to built a Taraba state of our dream"

While reminding the mammoth crowds that trooped into Jolly Nyame stadium Jalingo to show their support for him, he told them the task before them are enormous considering how some people break off the sustained peace in the state without which no meaningful development will be recorded.

High number of unemployment, the hundreds of untapped minerals resources and the reduction of petroleum products in the international market has indeed cripple the economy of our state.

"We are into a rescue mission in this state, we cannot do it without your support, all what I want to tell you is that give me peace and I will give you development" He Added

The Governor thank the people of the state for finding him worthy of this noble assignment and appreciates T Y Danjuma whom he calls his political mentor.
