Nggilari Absconds To Handover, Deputy Hands Power To Jibrilla

The people of Adamawa state today received a shock on what it could be called abscondment from performing the constitutional duties of hand over by Bala James Nggilari the former Governor of Adamawa state.

The transition ceremony handover that holds in Mamudu Ribadu Square with thousands of APC supporters and the people of the state are full of expectations to see the former Governor (Nggilari) handing power to the new executive Governor but only to dashed off their hopes to see the deputy Governor performing the constitutional right.

The absent of Bala Marred and scuttles the smooth hand over ceremony as all logistics arrangements were poorly planed by the Bala's transition committee believing to have a court ruling to be passed on their favor on the 28th may but only to be dissappointed on the court verdict.

His deputy later handed over the mantle of leadership to Mr Umauru Jibirila .

Our reporter gathered that the former governor run into hiding because of his inability to pay salaries and he indebted the state with Billions of naira and run for fears of arrest.
